2024 has been a year of profound self-discovery for Suzanne Cheong, marked by pivotal decisions that reflect her evolving aspirations and values.

In August 2024, Suzanne embarked on the Bachelor of Architecture program at NUS, immersing herself in campus life at Raffles Hall. She participated in various activities, including the Raffles Hall Dancing Group and a donation drive, and navigated the intense academic demands of the course. While she appreciated the creative challenges and insights gained, Suzanne began to reflect deeply on her long-term aspirations.

As the semester unfolded, it became increasingly clear that the structured and linear path of architecture did not align with her entrepreneurial dreams and vision for the future. Despite moments of accomplishment—such as positive feedback on her projects and recognition from professors—she found herself yearning for the flexibility and creativity that entrepreneurship offers.

After much thought, Suzanne made the bold decision to withdraw from the architecture program. This choice was not made lightly, but it stemmed from a growing clarity about where her true passions lie. For Suzanne, building her own ventures, exploring creative freedom, and shaping her own path resonate far more deeply than the structured framework of an architectural career.

Her entrepreneurial journey continues to flourish. Suzanne’s tattoo studio, Snowiepoke, has grown steadily, earning praise from a loyal client base. These ventures reflect not just her creativity but also her drive to innovate and connect with others on her terms.

Looking ahead, Suzanne remains committed to her entrepreneurial dreams, using her experience at NUS as a stepping stone rather than a destination. With her Korea trip planned from December 8th to 18th, she is taking a well-deserved break to recharge and seek inspiration for the next chapter.
